Monday, August 15, 2022 –Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC is set to make its final verdict on who has won the presidential race.
The IEBC has finalized its tallying exercise of presidential results by hamornising both Form 34A and 34B used in the August 9 voting exercise.
All eyes are now directed to Chairman Wafula Chebukati who is required by law to make his final announcement and give the country one name of the winner.
The four candidates, Raila Odinga of Azimio La Umoja, UDA’s Deputy President William Ruto, Roots Party’s George Wajackoyah and Agano Party’s Waihiga Mwaure have to be present as the commission makes the declaration.
