Friday, January 21, 2022 –Outspoken Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Wangui Ngirici met with President Uhuru Kenyatta after a long time.
Ngirici on Thursday January 19 met with the head of State in Nyeri function where the president was officiating the pass out parade for cadets.
Ms Ngirici said that she was part of the politicians who joined President Uhuru Kenyatta at the National Police College Main Campus Kiganjo in Nyeri to witness an official police pass-out.
“Earlier today I joined His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta at the National Police College Main Campus Kiganjo in Nyeri County where he presided over the passing out parade of 298 direct entry inspectorate cadet officers,” she posted on her Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The politician who is warming up towards the Handshake camp after her bitter fallout with Ruto is already rebranding her campaign material from UDA colours to something else.
Recently, she made an outburst urging members of her Kikuyu community to elect anyone they want and not to bank their hopes on William Ruto with whom she has severed ways with.
She is currently eyeing the Kirinyaga County Governor seat which Ms Waiguru is also eyeing through Ruto’s UDA Party.
The entrance of Waiguru into UDA Party angered her to a level she had to pack her belongings and leave the camp. She would quickly describe Ruto as a political betrayer.
