Visibly angry Andrew warned Waiguru against interfering with rivals’ billboards in the town saying just like anyone else, he is also entitled to have them.

According to Mr. Andrew, Waiguru’s main aim was to provoke him into unnecessary war ahead of the upcoming Mashujaa Day Celebrations.

The local tycoon also claimed that there are two other billboards at Samson Corner which had been pulled down by the county government and he was following up the matter.

The businessman added that Waiguru had become too bitter when Interior Cabinet Secretary Karanja Kibicho and Woman Representative Purity Ngirici buried their differences in a move that left the governor exposed.

Reports later emerged that the workers who were found pulling down the billboards had been arrested but later released.

Mwea East Sub-county Commandant David Katayi, reported that the worrying factions will be summoned to discuss the issue before it gets out of hand.
