Tuesday, May 25, 2021 -Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Ngirici has fore-warned President Uhuru Kenyatta against fielding any candidate in forthcoming Kiambaa by-election.
In a video link which has since gone viral on major social media platforms, Ms Ngirici on Tuesday May 25, advised the President not to invite himself into another humiliating defeat like the one witnessed in Juja and few other areas.
She further warned that the Building Bridges Initiative BBI will collapse in his own face should he not read public mood which is not so attractive on the BBI since many Kenyans are not interested in matters Referendum at this point in time.
The vocal woman Rep went on to blame the State machinery for allegedly intimidating some candidates in Kiambaa; citing the recent case where Damaris Waiganjo dramatically swapped parties within a span of one week before she finally called it quits.
“Bwana Rais! wacha nikwambie ya kwamba wembe ni ule ule!
“Kichapo ni kile kile! Haiwezekani ata wakati mtu mwingine anapewa ticket na Chama, wewe unaitia watu viti kwa maboardrooms (we will punish you the same way we have did before in other elections. You like dishing boardroom appointments but this will come to an end soon),” Ngirici warned.
The politician is a diehard supporter of Deputy President William Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.
