Wednesday, March 31, 2021 -Migori County Governor Okoth Obado is a happy man following the emerging news that BBI had been thrown into limbo.
Mr. Obado who was speaking during Dominic Akugo’s House Warming Party in Migori, laughed at those who have been pushing hard the BBI even when the country needed other basics due to the biting pandemic.
“We are in the middle of a pandemic, and we are facing difficulties in this country. The prices of basic commodities have increased, and life has become unbearable. The claim that BBI will improve our lives is a huge lie. Life will not be easy with BBI. We are glad that God has stopped the reggae,” Obado said.
In a thin-veiled-attack on his party leader Raila Odinga, Mr. Obado noted with concerns that Kenyans currently want medical care as opposed to BBI and the Referendums.
He has on several occasions argued that changing the Constitution cannot have any positive impact for this country and that was a misplaced decision from selfish politicians who are hungry for power.
