Saturday, July 10, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has flown to Dubai. Fresh details have emerged.
Odinga will be in Dubai again after his last visit there in June 2020 when he underwent a minor surgery.
He spoke about plans to travel to the Middle East city when he was attending burial service of Mama Dorcas Ntimama – wife to the late William Ntimama – in Narok on Saturday July 10.
“I am a close friend of this family and I wanted to be here when she is interred. I was to travel to Dubai on Friday, July 9, but changed my itinerary to be with you today.
“It was important to delay the meeting rather than miss bidding her goodbye. My plane leaves at 3 pm (Saturday, July 10). That was why I requested to speak ahead of all the other leaders,” Raila disclosed.
Eulogizing the late, the opposition supremo described the late Dorcas as a great supporter of her late husband who imparted courage throughout the political life of her husband – the late Nicholas.

“She was the bedrock of her husband’s politics and matriarch to the Maa. Dorcas championed Maa culture and promoted the education of girls. May she rest in peace,” Raila mourned.
Dorcas breathed her last on Friday June 25 at Nairobi Hospital.
