ODM MP Admits Raila Lost Election to Ruto, Blames Uhuru

Thursday, August 3, 2023 –Saboti Member of Parliament MP Caleb Amisi has accused former President Uhuru Kenyatta of misleading Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga in the August general elections.

Amisi, while addressing intrigues in the last year’s general election, has revealed that Uhuru Kenyatta failed to admit to Raila Odinga that he(Uhuru) had lost the real Deep State to William Ruto.

In what Amisi has claimed, Uhuru believed in the likes of David Murathe, Raphael Tuju and Mt. Kenya Foundation as key enablers to presidency.

However, the MP now says the then Deputy President William Ruto had done enough homework and research early enough and established that the presidency lied elsewhere not in the hands of Mt. Kenya tycoons.

MP Amisi goes on to claim that is the reason William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua continued disparaging bedroom meetings with Mt. Kenya power brokers.

They kept undermining the group that used to present Raila to Mt. Kenya residents as the next head of State to succeed Mr. Kenyatta.

In an interview with Enock Sikolia on Wednesday August 2, Saboti MP Caleb Amisi, openly admitted that Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga lost to President William Ruto due to confusion from Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta.

“The Deep State Baba (Raila Odinga) had in the last presidential contest was a shell. President William Ruto had the real Deep State. He had run away with the real power just waiting to be sworn in.

“Uhuru could have whispered to Baba at the steps of Harambee House that, by the way, just know I have no Deep State.

“Ruto had money, Deep State and energy combined; you can’t defeat such a candidate even if its Caleb running,” the MP further stated.

Caleb – a second term MP – who happens to be a close ally to his boss Raila Odinga, was speaking this, days after hosting the party leader who came to preside over daughter’s recent birthday celebrations.

Other leaders who attended the birthday party are Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o as well as former Murang’a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria.
