Friday, April 9, 2021 -Popular Blogger Robert Alai has responded to rumours about what exactly killed former ODM Party parliamentary aspirant Ibrahim Ahmed alias Johnny.

The former aspirant for Kamukunji parliamentary contest and who lost in 2017 breathed his last while at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi on Friday April 9 morning, what triggered a national discourse on what actually had caused his death; with some sections linking it to Sputnik V Vaccine from Russia.

Quite a number of Kenyans spread word around that Johnny developed complications after he had received his Sputnik jab.

But now, Blogger Robbert Alai has come out to clarify that the late, for a long time now, has been battling kidney complications and at some point had to undergo a transplant.

“My brother Ibrahim Johnny received the #SputnikV vaccine. But know that Ibrahim has battled kidney conditions for a long and even had a transplant. Look for something else to blame. It’s not the #SputnikV vaccine,” Alai harshly wrote.

ODM Party also reacted to the death saying it had nothing to do with Covid-19 Vaccine.
