This therefore leaves the other One Kenya Alliance OKA principals at a risky corner with only 10 months left to the next general elections.

Mbadi who was speaking in Migori on Saturday September 25 clarified that ODM Party is now racing with time this season to build a formidable team ahead of 2022 polls

“And we are also going to work very closely with KANU led by Gideon Moi. As Kenyans we are working together towards uniting this country,” Mbadi stated.

Speaking in the same event, Ugunja lawmaker Opiyo Wandayi said its only through unity purpose that this country can get the required leadership.

President Uhuru Kenyatta with Raila Odinga.

“We believe the future of this country lies in unity of purpose which can only come through coalitions and progressive alliances such as the one ODM is currently engaged in with our worthy partners in One Kenya Alliance especially KANU and with Jubilee,” he remarked.

In his recent public speech, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi was on record saying in any alliance they form, ODM Party boss Raila must also be part of it.

Raila-Gideon talks are coming at the time rumours are rife that President Uhuru Kenyatta is quietly pushing for the merger which Kalonzo and Mudavadi are skeptical of.
