It is reported that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s meeting with the politicians in Mombasa last week left them with a few options to pick from.

Uhuru reportedly told them to put their personal interests aside if they wanted to win against Ruto whose popularity is mind-boggling.

Asked about this, Amani National Congress ANC Party deputy party boss Ayub Savula observed that the planned meeting will aim at talking pressing national matters at hand.

Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetang’ula are supposed to form a coalition similar to their 2017 NASA umbrella with Odinga so as to be able to beat William Ruto in round one during the next polls.

Further details on the meeting have indicated that all the ground work is ready and the leaders will be meeting for the crucial talks.

In the plans further, they have slated a Naivasha retreat whose main aim is to further solidify their unity.

But even as they plan to face off with Ruto, the DP is also busy assembling his troupes together ready for the duel. He has already told them to be ready for a battle that they have never been subjected to before. Single handedly he has promised his supporters nothing less than the presidency.
