Thursday, May 5, 2022 –Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be leading his One Kenya Alliance faction on a series of political rallies across the country in support of Raila.

Speaking this in Nairobi yesterday Wednesday May 4, the OKA alliance boss who wanted to set the record straight announced that his aim is to deliver votes to Azimio-One Kenya Alliance so that they can win with a larger margin in the August 9 polls.

Musyoka who has all along been blowing cold and hot finally had to make the big announcement assuring his supporters and the country at large that his heart was still in Azimio and that he has no intentions of living.

“We are going to have a series of rallies from my area, Mlolongo to Mombasa. The rallies will culminate into a big event to be held at Mombasa’s Tononoka Grounds. This must be clear that we now have to do things differently so that Azimio could win the next general elections,” he said.

He was saying this amid concerns that he might be mis-advised by William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza team members who have been wooing him to switch camps.

“Though we are competitors, to subject HE Kalonzo to some humiliating ‘interview’ is impunity. We must unite to eliminate the culture of political deceit, the hallmark of some politicians. Whatever the circumstances every leader deserves some dignity and respect. Heshima si utumwa,” DP William Ruto said.

Same sentiments were shared by his new friend Moses Wetang’ula of Ford Kenya who also urged Kalonzo not to attend the announced Azimio running mate interviews.

The interviews were organized to pick the most favorable running mate for Mr. Raila Odinga ahead of the next general elections.
