Monday, February 10, 2022 –An online opinion poll seeking to eastablish who between ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Governor Wycliffe Oparanya should be trusted to control Western voting bloc has been conducted.
In the poll carried out by an online news platform Kenyan Report and which started running on Thursday February 10 morning, by 7PM same day, a total of around 4,000 respondents had voted.
“Who should be the Mulembe Nation spokesperson?” the pollster posed the question on their Twitter handle.
Interestingly by 8PM, Kakamega Governor Wickliffe Oparanya had been voted by a majority of over 3,500 respondents while Musalia had only garnered close to 650 votes from participants.
Those who were following the voting exercise shared their views with majority agreeing with the fact that Mudavadi had interfered with his own popularity when he joined hands with Ruto’s team. This, according to the participants, had given Oparanya an edge over him.
“Musalia ni bibi ya wenyewe alishapitishiwa kwa dirisha na akashikiwa fence. He is just compared with that village girl who went to the posho mill and never returned while the parents waited for a cool dowry come wedding. Mulembe land can put their hopes on other sons and daughters,” Mbaire commented.
Another user by the name Amos Ng’ong’o noted that Musalia’s gambling nature was costing him his political strength around Western Region.
“Hon. Musalia Mudavadi a chief political gambler who never takes responsibility for his political misgivings or decisions. Therefore, he cannot be trusted to be the ” MULEMBE NATION’S SPOKESPERSON”. The likes of Musalia Mudavadi’s LEADERSHIP is what has actually delayed Luhya Unity,” Ng’ong’o said.
Mudavadi recently joined forces with Deputy President William Ruto in what they have christened Kenya Kwanza Alliance which is seemingly struggling to gain traction across board.
