Monday, April 29, 2024 –Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya has responded to trolls circulating his images on social media.

Responding to a concern by one of the news reporters from Mombasa County on Monday April 29, Mr. Oparanya who is at the Coast meeting his family and friends, said he is not much disturbed by the news about his images but only that he wondered why someone would have an interest in his private life.

“I have seen news circulating. Someone circulating my genuine photos online. I don’t know why someone would waste time trying to circulate them. I don’t know the interest that people have when they have taken such photos,” noted the politician

He also demystified news that he is ailing and hospitalised; and urged those making the repports to stop because they are fake reports that should be treated with contempt.

“I have seen news about me being hospitalised because I am ailing. Here I am here and very okay,” he added.

The opposition politician was reacting to images shared on X Platform now the third day in which he is having a cozy time with a young lady who is reportedly his clandestine.

On the other hand, Mary Biketi who is the young lady in the clip, has also shared the video of Oparanya speaking and confirming about their relationship.

Oparanya is the deputy party boss Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party and has been twice governor of Kakamega County and Minster in the late Mwai Kibaki government.
