Saturday, October 14, 2023 –Government has started demolishing homes in Athi River following Presidential directive on land grabbers.
Many started losing their houses in the area on Friday October 13, following President William Ruto’s orders on the East Africa Portland Cement Company EAPCC land.
Homenews.Co.ke has since learnt that several mansions were brought down by bulldozers, forcing property owners to seek alternative accommodation.
Notably, some of the homes were still undergoing construction.
In the confusion, some residents were filmed salvaging what was left from the demolitions, with others moving their valuable household items to other destinations.
