Monday, Nov 1, 2021 –Panic has gripped Deputy President William Ruto wing over claims that plans to rig 2022 elections had been put in place already.
This was first disclosed by Nandi County Senator Samson Cherergei on Monday November 1 who said already the outcome in favour of their key rival had been prepared.
He was making this sensational claim with regard to the two sensitive government dockets which he believes are held by Cabinet Members who have shown interest in supporting the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party boss Raila Odinga.
“I have seen Joe Mucheru, Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang’i. These people should protect the country, but we saw them recently declare support for Odinga,” he claimed.
The Senator warned that the three CSs, if left to hold those offices, may plunge the nation into another dark path.
The Ruto ally challenged the head of State to act very fast and fire the three CSs from office so that to assure the country of a peaceful 2022 elections.
“I want to request President Kenyatta that in the interest of the peace and integrity of elections in this country, They should be removed,” he added.
The lawmaker noted that the integrity of the country remains at stake if this security challenge is not corrected now.
