Wednesday, May 15, 2024 –Jubilee official Pauline Njoroge resurfaced hours after news of her plans to join Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s communication team emerged, yesterday.

First to post the news yesterday Tuesday was renowned Nairobi blogger Cyprian Nyakundi who claimed that, together with former Nyeri Town Member of Parliament MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, Pauiline had been hired to join DP’s official Public Relations PR team.

“There is trouble at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s communication team after some team members threatened to quit with rumors that Ngunchiri Wambugu now wants to replace Njeri Rugene,” claimed Nyakundi on Tuesday May 14.

Njeri Rugene was appointed head of communication at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s office in October 2022.

In the post made by Nyakundi yesterady, Ngunjiri Wambugu was coming on board with blogger Pauline Njoroge, Wahome Thuku among others.

“The bloggers have been on the payroll of the DPs office but want to be official. Pauline Njoroge has been key in branding and posting positive messages about Second Lady Dorcas Gachagua initiatives,” added Nyakundi as Kenyans on X picked the rumours from there.

But on Wednesday May 15 morning, Ms Pauline who is still an official in Jubilee Party headed by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, came out to clear the air.

“A guy comes to a post where I am hammering the government and UDA MPs and asks, ati you have been bought by the government and appointed to a senior position? Nikimuita kagege kuna shida?” reacted Pauline.

She followed this with a series of tweets criticizing the Kenya Kwanza leadership as a failed administration.

“I am seated somewhere and eavesdropping on some 3 Kikuyu men seated on the next table. Wueh! Never in recent times have Kenyans been this disillusioned and extremely disappointed by a government. Those who voted for it like these three men who sound like they are businessmen are additionally very bitter,” Pauline also stated.

Ms Pauline Njporoge is currently Deputy Organising Secretary for Jubilee Party.
