Wednesday, September 7, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja contender Raila Odinga sustained a minor injury after falling off a trade-mill at his Karen residence.
The 77-year old politician who just lost the recent election to William Ruto in a vigorous court exercise, was spotted with a swollen face in the company of his wife, family and outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta.
An insider divulged to Homenews.co.ke that Odinga slipped off from a treadmill while working out in the morning but he is doing well since the injury had been attended to by his handlers and doctors.
Another source from within claimed that Raila fell while disembarking from his car and that he was well and back to his feet.
“Baba @RailaOdinga didn’t have any medical challenges or those things you are thinking of. He had a small fall while disembarking from the car. He is very much ok though. He wishes all of you a good day and is upbeat and hopeful,” Kileleshwa elected member of County assembly Robert Alai highlighted.
The worrying photo in which he had swollen on the left side of his face with his eye struggling to open surfaced on Tuesday, September 6 after a night meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at his Karen Home.
Also present was Uhuru’s son, Jomo, and Raila’s last born daughter Winnie Odinga.
