Friday, February 5, 2021 -A total of 126 Jubilee members of Parliament have reportedly appended their signatures with plans to oust Ruto from office.
Lugari MP Ayub Savula who is spearheading the process has confirmed that the motion to make this a success was at the signature level and so far it was moving on well.
He argued that this move has nothing to do with Ruto as an individual but meant to bring sanity back in the ruling party led by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
It is also reported that another 107 MP’s in the defunct NASA coalition are targeted to append their signatures.
“It is laughable because they do not understand the number of MPs from across the political divide who are supporting this motion. Kenyans voted for both Uhuru and Ruto expecting them to deliver on the promises they made during campaigns. But while the President is busy working hard to implement what they promised, his deputy is frustrating him,” said Savula.
The Deputy party leader at ANC also revealed that Rutos’ style of politics could explode if not checked right now.
But even as this threat continues to become a reality, DP William Ruto’s side last month laughed at the proponents of th emotion saying they had no political clout to carry out any serious exercise in the House.
