Monday, March 7, 2022 –Police have started arresting suspects who participated in the harassing of a motorist along Forest Road in Nairobi.
The bodaboda men on Friday sexually assaulted the car owner after she was reportedly involved in a minor accident with a motorbike rider in the area.
It occurred when other riders who heard of the incident rushed to the scene to help their fellow rider only to turn against the helpless lady who appeared to be running away from the accident scene.
In the video shared on Sikika Road Safety Facebook page, the lady is heard yelling for help after the rowdy riders accosted her, struggled to pull her out of the car with intention to reduce it to ashes.
“This is a disturbing video of boda boda riders harassing a lady driver on Forest Road,” Sikika updated.
Though they tried hard to eject her from the vehicle, the lady defiantly remained tight in her seat belt to save herself and her car from destruction. She would end up losing her clothes to to the men.
Police spokesman Bruno Shioso has since confirmed 14 arrests.
