Thursday, February 17, 2022 – Renowned Bongo star Rapper Joseph Haule popular by his stage name Professor Jay is admitted in critical condition.

A source close to the family divulged that the rapper was in hospital fighting for his life after his health started deteriorating fast, three weeks ago.

Jay was admitted at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam City, Tanzania, and according to reports, his health is not stable.

Fellow rapper Ambwene Yessayah, better known as AY, told the press after he had visited him that the family was not okay sharing more details with the public.

“Let us keep praying for our Brother Prof Jay’s full recovery. For now, the family has opted not to make his ailment public but all this will be disclosed in due course,” AY said.

AY also revealed that, currently, the hospital bill for Jay was piling up as he is required to pay a whopping sh 200,000 per week for specialized medication.

Rapper Jay was last seen in the public when he was launching his latest song Shikilia which he featured Young Lunya and Maua Sama.

This is a similar script miles away in Uganda where singer Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleon left hospital bed a couple of months ago after suffering liver-related ailments.
