Wednesday, March 15, 2023 –Former Chief Executive Officer CEO Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC, Ezra Chiloba, was forced to scamper for safety during his Kisumu function.

Mr. Chiloba was forced to flee Kisumu on Wednesday, March 15, after a group of rowdy youth disrupted his press briefing.

The rowdy youth invaded thel event, minutes after he (Chiloba) started addressing the press’ he had to quickly cut short the function and run away to his safety.

A source told Homenews.co.ke that the Communication Authority CA Director General was officiating a High-Level Roundtable event which marked World Consumer Rights Day at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Sports Complex.

While disrupting the event, the youth stormed the catering services and took away all food, leaving organisers and guests in complete shock.

The source confirmed to us that the youth were complaining of the high cost of living in the country.

They warned that government officials should, henceforth, not be allowed to hold meetings in big hotels when the rest of the country is suffering.
