Wednesday, August 3, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga is still winning in opinion polls as another firm delivers favouring numbers.
Trends and Insights for Africa TIFA research firm on Wednesday August 3 morning released their latest research data which showed that Mr. Odinga was leading with 53 percent as William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza was following with a 45 percent popularity rating.
Their numbers are coming just a day after two research firms yesterday Tuesday August 2 also announced that Odinga was ahead of William Ruto by eight points.
According to TIFA, Odinga’s popularity increased from 49 percent while that of Ruto went up from 41 percent due to reducing undecided number of voters.
However, TIFA reported that Ruto’s UDA Party is still the most popular political party with 38 percent followed by ODM Party with 32 percent and Jubilee took third position with only 5 percent.
“As was the case with political parties and the two coalitions, support for (the main) presidential candidates is concentrated in their home areas, but quite divided elsewhere” TIFA said.
It was also discovered that the political parties were getting huge support from their clansmen but divided across the country.
