Thursday, November 11, 2021 –Local politicians from Kisumu have ganged up against Deputy President William Ruto for roping Raila Odinga into skirmishes that erupted at Kondele in Kisumu last Wednesday.

Speaking today Thursday November 11, an MP from Migori County made damning revelations of what transpired before the ugly violence erupted in the Ruto meetings. Speaking to a local media channel, the MP divulged that Ruto had mounted a successful campaign in their area and it was going on smoothly until he messed it with his own money.

He further revealed that Ruto and his team distributed money to students at Kanga area in Rongo Migori leading to the chaos same to what happened in Kisumu where it was expected that he gives sh 5 million only for the youth and women to receive a paltry sh 2 million through Mr. Eliud Owalo who is part of his key coordinators around Nyanza Region.

The legislator who seems to be privy to UDA Party activities around Kisumu added that the DP is using a mining company called Alpha Jam in Migori County which he uses to withdraw his millions to destabilize Nyanza Region and blame it on Raila.

“In the morning, locals spotted a Probox car and when they went to see who was stealing gold at Apha Jam, they stumbled on the DP with Governor Okoth Obado,” he revealed.

The politician went ahead to defend Raila Odinga saying it was very unfair for Ruto and his political cronies to link Raila on what had happened in Kisumu.

And reacting to the same in a clip which Homenenws.co.ke has received on the desk, the opposition Chief said he is not disturbed by Ruto’s desperate tactics to attract sympathy around the country.

Odinga said Ruto is not consequential to his bid for the Statehouse and therefore he will not be destructed by such ‘childish’ gimmicks whose aim is to whip emotions.

Odinga added that when he was recently in Rift Valley Region he was warmly received because he was organized and calm. He also cautioned that what a politician speaks when he is in a particular area matters alot because some sections there could be infuriated by the remarks and decide to turn chaotic.
