Uhuru, Raila agree to give car grants to MCAs

Tuesday February 2, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM boss Raila Odinga has supported calls from Members of County Assembly MCAs to also have car grants.

Speaking on Tuesday February 2nd, the ODM Party leader confessed how it has been hard for the MCAs to perfectly carry on with their oversight role without access to cars.

The former premier was basically sharing the same views with his new-found-foe-turned-ally President Uhuru Kenyatta who last week promised to make sure MCAs have the grant.

Odinga on Tuesday also revisited the issue of Wheelbarrows and the hustler Gospel according to DP William Ruto saying it was improper to promise our young men and women wheelbarrows in the guise of supporting them economically

“Asking the youth to forget about work and instead push WHEELBARROWS or ride Boda Bodas for the rest of their lives is asking them to SURVIVE not LIVE. This is the CONVERSATION they want us not to have but one that we MUST have,” he asserted.
