Tuesday, January 23, 2024 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has defended the laud absence of Junet Mohamed from political activities.
In a clear response on the increased public speculations over whether MP Junet was intact in ODM or not, Raila, speaking in Lamu County said Junet is still the party’s campaigns director.
Odinga argued that whatever that was being peddled in the media was not correct and that it should be ignored.
“Hon. Junet Mohammed is in ODM to stay. Ignore propaganda by the media. Junet is not going anywhere.
“He is the Director of campaigns in the ODM party,” added Raila while addressing supporters in Lamu County.
Speculations have been ripe that the Suna East Member of Parliament Junet had been axed from ODM Party top leadership position and it’s political activities.
This is after members of the public noticed his wide absence from the ongoing registration exercise around the country.
ODM Party leaders have been traversing the country in search of increased support from new members.
The party is said to be in high gear preparing for 2027 elections.
