African Union Commission AUC chairman candidate Raila Odinga has slammed President William Ruto over increased street abductions in the country.

Addressing yesterday, Mr. Odinga called out Ruto’s administration for abducting young men on a daily basis and holding them incommunicado for days.
Odinga added that, it beats logic for a government to use old dirty tactics to handle those who do not agree with it.
The opposition leader said this culture must be put on a stop this early before it translates into a national catastrophe.
“Families have been left in agony and anguish over their kin having been kidnapped by either uniformed or uniformed men. This is taking us back to the old days where we used to be arrested and thrown into Nyayo House and tortured for years,” he remarked while challenging President Ruto to order immediate release of missing Kenyans.
He was speaking this amid increased street abductions happening on young men and women who have been putting the Stars on check through social media posts.
Days ago, embattled impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also took a sharp swipe at Ruto for presiding over abductions and mistreatment of innocent Kenyans.
He urged the head of State to command an immediate freedom to all those abducted by masked policemen.
