Thursday, March 2, 2023 –Raila Odinga’s brother Oburu Odinga has urged their supporters to remain with his brother Raila Odinga whom he said has another formula he could apply to beat William Ruto in the 2027 general election.
Now about seven months since elections were concluded, Oburu Odinga has come out to detail reasons his brother was defeated by William Ruto in the August 9 race despite the Deep State top hype.
According to Dr. Oburu, the clever Ruto went ahead of them and analyzed the electoral process before the actual polls took place, then, plotted to use hibernation pretense as his number one tactic of beating the Deep State threat.
In his account today Thursday March 2, the Siaya County Senator added that all they believed in was Uhuru Kenyatta and paid little attention on what Ruto was saying and planning; what many people in Azimio thought it was inconsequential.
And despite thinking that Raila and Uhuru had sealed all the leaking areas to help hand Azimio an early win, evident gaps remained with Ruto who had all the relevant security intelligence details that helped him maneuver the presidential highway.
“When we kicked Ruto out of the government, we never knew that he was well-rooted and got hold of several system portions within Uhuru’s government.
“Ruto used to attend all security planning meetings and he understood how things worked” explained Oburu while confessing that they were wrong in many cases.
And speaking about the Cherara 4 commissioners, Raila’s elder brother said, not, anyone in the Azimio team anticipated that Mr. Wafula Chebukati could out-do the four who made the majority.
Sadly, with the help of the Venezuelan hackers, Chebukati threw every of their hopes off balance leaving them helpless at the eleventh hour.
Asked about Uhuru’s role in the election, he, however, rubbished reports that the Jubilee Party leader could have betrayed Raila, adding that the former head of State was the most genuine man in the formation but was only blindfolded by some of his allies who secretly worked with Chebukati to hand Ruto the win.
