Tuesday, November 30, 2021 –Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has spoken about his plans to endorse someone for presidency.
In a live Tv interview he held at the newly launched Ramogi Tv Station that airs in complete Luo dialect, Mr. Odinga disclosed to his supporters and Kenyans at large that he is weighing on what could be the next best political step ahead of 2022 contest.
He remarked that any decision he will make will squarely depend on what feedback he would have received from across the board during the ongoing Azimio la Umoja tours.
Tasked to speak about anyone he would endorse if he will not be running, the opposition supremo said this is another topic that will require a lot of soul-searching. He said anyone who will get his endorsement must be willing to think the same way he does as far as plans for this country are concerned.
He told his host Charles Odhiambo of Ramogi Tv that the person must first be willing to agree to implement all his action plan for this nation.
“The person I will endorse must first reach an agreement with me, that he will do all that I planned for Kenyans. That is the person I will endorse in case I will decide not to vie,” Raila said.
Odinga who was expected to make official his presidential bid on December 9 moved the date by a day to December 10. The much awaited event will be held at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
