Friday, September 2, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja family led by contender Raila Odinga today met their legal team which had represented them in the Supreme Court case.

Raila and Karua met the able team of female and male lawyers led by Governor James Orengo who was the lead counsel in the whole court process.

While commending on their job, Mr. Odinga mentioned that they had carried out their legal mandate in a very brilliant manner.

“Fantastic work. We thank our entire legal team. #TheDawnOfJustice,” he wrote.

He would then share photos alongside his Campaign Secretariat Spokesman Makau Mutua who also highlighted the important day.

Running mate Martha Karua has since assured the country that once the verdict is delivered, everyone will have to agree with it and move on.

Their case management team was led by Paul Mwangi and composed Jackson Awele, Julie Soweto, Velma Maumo, Prof Ben Sihanya, Fred Orego, Dan Maanzo and Tom Macharia.

Others in the team were lawyers Tony Moturi, Dr Judy Oloo, Celestine Opiyo, Arnold Oginga, Barbara Malowa, Addah Awiti, Justus Jura, Leonard Okanda, Plister Omondi, Winnie Makaba, Jerusah Michael, Deborass Bubi, George Ouma, Edward Ambala, Geoffrey Sore, Naila Salim, Tabitha Wathuti, John Njomo, Jacqueline Njoroge, Speranza Nywaira, Kinyua, Hannington Amol, Ndegwa Njiiru, Mathews Okoth, Kennedy Wanyanga, Kevin Katisya among many others.

The battery also had legal consultants Prof Makau Mutua, C.N Kihara, Dr Adams Oloo, and Caesar Vanjao.
