Thursday, September 16, 2021 -Opposition leader Raila Odinga will be using the name Mganga for his campaigns in 2022. He has reportedly told the media.

Deputy President William Ruto and his cronies have for a longer time been referring to Mr. Odinga as a Mganga(witchdoctor) to paint him as a man who doesn’t recognize church.

But in his interview with the Standard newspaper today Thursday September 16, Mr. Odinga told journalists that he is ready to embrace the tag Mganga which the DP gave to him.

In his own words, he claimed that the name is not bad as some would want to paint it since witch-doctors also can heal and people get to them for help and therefore if that is what some sections think of him then why not?

“Being called a Mganga is not a bad thing because it means I am a medical medic. I am also intending to use the Nickname as my 2022 political brand because I am about to heal the political and economic mess this country is in,” Raila told the paper.

Mr. Raila Odinga, Mp Junet Mohamed and other ODM officials.

He promised to use it in his 2022 political campaigns since he is among the few persons who are willing to heal the country from the bad leadership and ailing economy.

Though the opposition leader has not declared his bid, there is high hope from his supporters that he will fly the 2022 ODM Party flag.
