Thursday, August 4, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga has promised to bring on board Amani National Congress ANC Party founder, Musalia Mudavadi, should Azimio win election.
Raila pledged to work with Musalia when his(Azimio) coalition takes power from 9 saying he will have to invite him into his government so that they can run the country together.
Mr. Odinga added that he has no hard feelings against the son of Hannah who ditched his camp for the William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza, a few months ago.
“Mudavadi is still my son, when I create my government I will call him so that we can build it together,” Raila pledged in Vihiga rally.
The former Prime Minister will be making his fifth stab at the presidency next week on Tuesday after failing in his four previous attempts.
In 2017, Raila enjoyed the support of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula and Wiper’s Kalonzo before they(Mudavadi and Wetang’ula) would decamp from NASA Alliance to the Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza formation.
The relationship between Mudavadi and Raila, however, seems to be that of ‘on and off’ if what the Azimio boss said today Thursday in Vihiga County on his way to Kisumu is to be taken serious.
Nonetheless, Mudavadi on the other hand, has constantly been attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta for supporting Mr. Odinga as a State project.
Yesterday Tuesday August 3, the ANC Party leader unleashed a hard-hitting tweet trying to disparage Uhuru’s tour in Western Region.
