Friday, March 10, 2023 –Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has made ready his supporters countrywide on his second plan to boycott certain products.
Speaking in Migori County today Friday March 10, Raila told supporters who had turned up in large numbers that his office is preparing a list of products from some companies that have to be boycotted by Kenyans countrywide.
Odinga, without mentioning by names, stated that there are some media houses, companies and services that must be boycotted so that the government can think about lowering the cost of living which every Kenyan is struggling with.
“Mass action is on the way. We are going to announce to you what next. There are certain products in this country which we will have to boycott,” he announced.
Speaking in Migori County today Friday March 10, a charged-up Odinga listed eggs from certain suppliers, companies and services which he confirmed that they ought to feel the weight of boycott that will start anytime from next week.
Yesterday Thursday March 9, Raila together with his team moved the mass action date forward – upto March 20 – to give the government time to make corrections as per their demands.
“I will not add you even a single minute,” Raila threatened.
Odinga, Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka wants Kenya Kwanza administration to lower the cost of living as well as stop handpicking Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials.
On the side of government, President William Ruto, recently, said he will not be dissuaded from doing work for Kenyans and warned the opposition against plunging the country into campaign mood.
