Nairobi County rained cats and dogs and, at Westlands area, all roads were impassable, cars seen submerged in water as some struggled to wade through the floods back home in the evening.

Long rains pounded the city today, Friday November 29, making it hard for Nairobi residents to drive back to their homes in time. Some waited until 10PM with hopes that rain will end but this did not happen.

Similar destructive rains were also witnessed in Kitengela, Kiambu and other parts around the city.
