Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has decried hostility from the regime.
In an urgent statement today Friday, Bobi Wine disclosed that the Yoweri Museveni-led government had marooned his homes from yesterday Thursday.
In the post seen by this desk, he asked members of the public to be aware that whatever happens to him or his family, Museveni and his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba must be held squarely responsible.
“Whatever happens to me, Museveni and his son are responsible. From yesterday, our home is being patrolled by strange men in civilian clothes who appear to be armed.
“We have information that they’re after my life – as threatened by Museveni’s son a few days ago. They have gone ahead to trail and abduct many of our comrades, including part of my security team.
Right now, the politician said, they’re raiding their Party headquarters and don’t want anyone close to the area.
This is happening at the time long serving opposition leader Kizza Besigye is being held by the police for alleged treason charges.
