Thursday, September 8, 2022 –Garissa Town Member of Parliament Aden Duale has asked the outgoing President to accept the fact that William Ruto is the new president of Kenya
He argued that Uhuru Kenyatta continues living in uncontrolled denial even after the whole world had already seen where the next power had shifted to.
The Garissa lawmaker was referencing to Uhuru’s Wednesday September 7 address while meeting Azimio elected MPs to plan on house leadership that Raila will remain his leader despite suffering a humiliating loss in the hands of William Ruto.
“It’s perplexing that he now refers to the 5th time loser as his leader to soothe his ego and perpetuate hopeless optimism.
“It is baffling that Uhuru conned Raila that he will deliver Mt. Kenya votes and would deploy the Deep State to overturn the will of the people,” Duale sensationally stated.
In the thin-veiled attack, the former Majority leader described Uhuru as a man evidently reeling from devastating shock over the defeat his ‘project’ had suffered in the just-concluded election.
“Evidently, the outgoing President is reeling from devastating defeat and living in denial. By asserting that Tinga is his leader, he clearly has refused to move on and is looking at the future with a rearview mirror,” Duale added.
He also seized the opportunity to lambast Mr. Kenyatta for not putting on a fight to even deliver only 500,000 votes from Mt Kenya to Raila’s basket despite promising to help him become his successor.
Mr. Duale who was speaking this on Wednesday September 7 afternoon, noted that Uhuru promised the ODM Party leader heaven while doing completely nothing to make it happen.
