Ruto and his boss Uhuru are the Deep State, Odinga answers Ruto

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Samoei Ruto are the Deep State. Raila Odinga has hit back at both DP William Ruto and his allies cries.

Speaking at Orange House on Thursday August 13^th, Odinga responded to DP Ruto who has been crying loud over the existence of Deep State in mind.

According to Mr. Odinga, if there was any Deep State, then it comprised of Ruto and his boss Uhuru Kenyatta who are running the current government.

Odinga instead challenged Ruto to walk across the Harambee Avenue road, meet his boss Kenyatta and discus anything surrounding the Deep State than to keep prosecuting the matter in public as if the ‘System’ belonged to the people.

“I hold no position in the Government of Kenya. It is led by the president and his deputy, whose names you know. So if you’re talking about the ‘Deep State’, who is there? It’s the President and his deputy. So go and ask the DP, which deep state are you talking about?” he stated.

Odinga was speaking this just a day after Ruto had dared the Deep State or the ‘System’ to try and rig him out in the 2022 elections.

“I just want to tell them: ‘We’re waiting for you’. This system, this deep state we are being told about, we are waiting for it,” he stated, asserting that he had the backing of God and the people.

The ODM party leader was speaking this when he met with fellow ODM leadership who included the newly appointed National Elections Board and the Central Committee in their party reconstitution exercise.

He took the opportunity to urge party members and leadership to work together so that to make the party stronger towards 2022 race. Video/Courtesy-
