“We are proud to Unveil the National Dialogue Committee’s Report which has been electronically submitted to the principals representing the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio La Umoja leadership.

“It is our firm belief that The Report has addressed the issues that formed the basis of the talks and the recommendations therein will progressively heal our wounds, foster togetherness, promote national unity restore our national pride, and usher us to greater prosperity,” Kalonzo Musyoka announced.

President William Ruto and Raila Speak

Shortly, President William Ruto, speaking in a Sunday service at Priesthood Fellowship, Kahawa West, Nairobi County, reacted to the document saying he had received it and that, from a casual look on the content, agreed to implement what belongs to the executive and leave the rest to the legislative wing through his full support.

“Those that belong to the executive I will executive without any delay. The job of the rest of us Kenyans is now to unite and move together.

Azimio la Umoja coalition leader who was in Rongo – his stronghold – asked his supporters to remain patient as he plans to make his full comments on the issue.

“They have released the report but I don’t want to speak on it now. Can you see what I am seeing? Can you see this it? We will finally be there but be patient,” Raila said in Rongo today Sunday during his ODM Party mobilization tour.

Karua, Eugene and Nyoro

But even as the principals said this, their foot soldiers among them Martha Karua and Eugene Wamalwa said the report was a complete let down to the people of Kenya and should be rejected in totality if the cost-of-living issue is not fully addressed.

“Any purported agreement that does not immediately impact on cost of living, electoral justice and respect for multiparty democracy is a fraud on the people and must be rejected,” Karua breathed fireon X-Platform.

Former Defence Cabinet Secretary, CS Eugene Wamalwa, from his end, noted that he will not sign upon the document until the cost-of-living matter is sufficiently resolved.

“l didn’t and will not append my signature to the NADCO report and have not, and will not, accept any sitting allowance for the same because l believe we did not do justice to the single most important issue to Kenyans, that is the cost of living,” the DAP-Kenya Party boss stated.
