Ruto Appoints Joshua Kutuny

Friday, October 27, 2023 –Former Cherengany Member of Parliament Joshua Kutuny has been appointed to plum State job.

President William Ruto has, through an official Gazette Notice dated Friday October 27, appointed Mr. Kutuny as the Chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board.

As usual,  Kutuny will be holding the position for a period of three years as he starts his official work today Friday.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Copyright Act 2001, I, William Ruto, president of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces appoints Joshua Kutuny to be the chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board, for three years, with effect from October 27, 2023,” partly read the notice seen by Homenews.Co.ke.

Since winning office last year in a hotly-contested election, President Ruto has seen most of his former boss allies shift allegiance to his side among them MP Sabina Chege, Kanini Kega and now Mr. Kutuny.

Mr. Kutuny was vocal in defending the former president from Kenya Kwanza political jabs in the last year’s election.
