Ruto clears Raila of any Wrong, Directs Anger to the Deep State

Friday, March 12, 2021 -Raila Odinga is not our problem, our problem is the Deep State. Deputy President William Ruto’s friends have said.

Led by Kapsaret legislator Oscar Kipchumba Sudi, the leaders now claim they have never had any issues with the former Prime Minister because, after all, he has no role in Government.

Speaking this during their tour in Kericho’s Kipkelion West Constituency, Sudi said their camp is in good terms with Raila save for one occasion where the Odinga camp kept quiet when Ruto was fighting impunity.

He added that their main enemy remains the Deep State or the System which has been purporting to wield too much power against those they don’t like.

“We have no problem with ODM it’s only that they were quiet when we were complaining about civil servants meddling with politics. We only have a problem with a few people calling themselves “DEEP STATE” said Mr. Sudi stated.

Ruto and Raila allies have, of late, stopped trading blows at each other a sign that they could decide to work against the System in 2022.

Their sudden change of attitude came in after Raila first asked the Deep State to stop criminalizing the word Hustler. Since that time, the two have gone slow to attacking each other and signs are nigh that they could form something together.
