Tuesday, January 9, 2024 -President William Ruto has reaffirmed his commitment to root out corrupt elements in the Judiciary.
Reiterating his earlier remarks on the corrupt judges in the Justice system, the head of State has today Tuesday mentioned again that he will not quietly watch as some judges mess with the sovereignty of over 47 million Kenyans.
He firmly argued that the people are more important than the few corrupt judges still hanging in the system.
“We are going to deal firmly and decisively to root out corruption in the Judiciary,” President Ruto sustained attacks on the Judiciary.
Ruto said he will insist on the independence of the Judiciary as well as a graft-free court system.
“I am not happy and I will not sit quiet as courts try to deny the people their rightful development share.
“I am going to do whatever it takes to weed out corruption from the Judiciary so that we can save this country from collapse,” added Ruto.
The head of State said this during his tour around Uasin Gishu County where he laid the foundation stone for the Kapsuswa Affordable Housing Project in Soy.
Present were area leaders among them Kapsaret Member of Parliament MP Oscar Sudi and colleagues.
