Saturday, September 18, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto has warned both President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga against reviving the BBI agenda through Parliament.

Ruto who was addressing Western Region grassroots leadership at his Surgoi home on Friday September 17 afternoon argued that the two friends were wasting a lot of their valuable time ‘chasing wind’ instead of focusing their energies on more important national matters.

He cautioned that those who are still obsessed with BBI politics risk losing again if they attempt to bring it back through the back door since their main aim seems to be focused at rewarding regional kingpins by massaging their ego.

“I want to ask the Kenyan members of Parliament to stop wasting their time and that of the people of Kenya discussing how to share power in 2022,” Ruto fired.

The second in command added that there are pending bills in the House which need MPs attention for the benefit of the electorates. For instance, he picked on the National Health Insurance Fund NHIF and the Housing Act which directly touch on mwananchi.

“Parliament must be careful so that they address matters affecting Kenyans instead of using almost all their time thinking of how they will share power,” the DP noted.

He also seized the opportunity to drum up support for his Hustler’s bottom up economic model which he described as the correct magic bullet for problems ailing the country.

Also present in the meeting was MP Kimani Ichung’wah from Kikuyu who addressed that on Tuesday September 21, he will personally start pushing bills which had been ignored on the floor.
