Embattled former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has now claimed that he was chased away from Kenya Kwanza government because he could tell off Ruto over bad policies.
Addressing in a church function on Sunday before heading to the Mt. Kenya Festival for the Peace Concert – at Ihura Stadium, Gachagua said he was the only strong person in the current Cabinet who faulted Ruto point blank during sittings as other Cabinet members wached in shock.
“I was the only State official who could tell Ruto the truth point blank. The rest were cowards. When Ruto looks at them in the eye, they all bow down. Nobody else can tell the president what’s wrong or what the people really feel. The person they handpicked to replace me cannot utter a single word before Ruto.
Mr. Gachagua also added that he could not spare his boss when it came to telling him off over unfriendly policies including SHA/SHIF, housing taxes, Adani, overtaxing people etc.
The Mt. Kenya politician, therefore, asked his supporters around Central Region to remain calm as he plans what next and that by January 2025, he will make an impacting declaration that may leave most disloyal politicians in Mt. Kenya injured and orphaned.
“I am still talking to people including business community, professionals, clergies and all leaders and, by January, we will tell you what we have agreed together.
