He divulged that, apart from the U.S..A and UK, China was on also on his throat over the ongoing destructive demos where all newly-built roads are being vandalized and burnt by protesters.

“China sent me a special envoy to find out why the new roads they had built in the country are being destroyed.

“Let’s stop tainting the image of this nation. We have to work together. President of China sent me a special envoy who sought know why our roads are under attack,” President Ruto said.

The Chinese President, through the envoy, asked his counterpart why the country was destroying every infrastructure instead of maintaining them.

Ruto has, therefore, urged politicians to preach peace so that development can prevail saying, with demos, it will be hard for him to achieve anything meaningful.

President Ruto was speaking this during his first day visit at the Coast where he is expected to pitch camp for three days.
