President William Ruto has continued with his church donations after handing a whopping Ksh 5 million to a Bungoma Anglican church.
The cash, on Sunday, was sent to area governor Ken Lusaka who, on behalf of the head of State, handed over to the St. Crispinus Anglican Church, Bungoma.
Ruto’s Bungoma donation coming amid back and forth with church leaders especially from the Catholic Religion who have been threatening to refund any donations from the Statehouse.
But in a rejoinder, the Statehouse maintained that it will go on with building the church because any donations made are made not only in good faith but for thanks giving to God.
Majority Leader in the National Assembly Kimani Ichungwah also told off the Catholic Church adding that the President gives to God and not individuals.
