Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has claimed that President William Ruto has since left the country in the hands of Hon. Raila Odinga.
Addressing this on the morning of Thursday November 28, Maanzo who is elected on Wiper Party ticket noted concerns that Ruto’s government can collapse should Raila and his ODM fraternity choose to leave today.
“Right now, Ruto’s government is hanging onto Raila’s lips. It is Raila who is in charge of this country right now, politically,” Maanzo claimed.
MP Maanzo who seemed not done with Ruto, added that the recent tour to Kisumu Kondele Market was boosted by bribes which Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda was captured on a video conducting.
“The senator for Kisumu (Tom Ojienda) was (allegedly) seen mobilising these crowds, dishing money out for those who came to the rally. Those who were not given money were (allegedly) seen shouting ‘Ruto Must Go’ in the same rally,” the senator claimed.
He, therefore, advised President William Ruto to, instead, direct the money he is wasting on countrywide tours to important projects that can help the entire nation.
He also advised the head of State to use such monies to help Raila win the AUC seat which, he opines, could be taken by a rival candidate from Djibouti.
While in Kisumu, Ruto admitted that ODM Party boss Raila Odinga was helping him in reciprocation to what he(Ruto) had done in 2007 that catapulted Odinga to the Prime Minister job in the Grand Coalition government.
