Ruto Meets Uhuru as Gachagua Boards KQ to Mombasa

Tuesday, June 11, 2024 -Today morning, President William Ruto held a meeting at the Statehouse with his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta concerning the issues raised by Kanze Dena concerning the retired president’s office.

Making the confirmation today Tuesday June 11 morning, Ruto’s communication team stated that he(Ruto) was holding a meeting with his former boss regarding concerns about facilitating the functioning of Uhuru’s office.

“This morning, President William Ruto had a conversation with his predecessor in office, the 4th President, President Uhuru Kenyatta, regarding concerns about facilitating the functioning of the retired President’s office,” confirmed Statehouse Spokesman Hussein Mohamed.

As this was happening, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was boarding economy class plane to Mombasa amid the claims that he has differences with his boss, President William Ruto.

Gachagua was spotted at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA taking the Kenya Airways airplane to Mombasa for a vacation.

He appeared ordinary -not having any bodyguard – and was holding his own green luggage as attendants at the airport engaged him.

“One man, one bag…’ DP Rigathi Gachagua boards a plane carrying his own luggage while heading to Mombasa,” a Kenyan who noticed Gachagua looking like a civilian at the airport shared.

Concerning the plight of the Retired head of State, in the meeting held today, President Ruto constituted a team, led by the Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei to, immediately, address all the issues raised, including the location of the retired President’s office and the attendant staff establishment.
