Wednesday, November 2, 2022 –Political analyst allied to Kenya Kwanza government, Dr. Edward Kisiang’ani, has been nominated to the position of Principal Secretary in the State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications.
The prominent tele-analyst is a known Hustler gospel preacher who criss-crossed national Tv channels in support of the William Ruto’s last campaigns that finally turned a suceess.
He is known for his hard-hitting attacks on the opposition leader Raila Odinga; and for the last five years, he sharply differed with anything said and done by the Azimio la Umoja bosses who included Raila Odinga and the ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta.
“The return of lawyer Miguna Miguna today demonstrates President Ruto’s determination to protect, uphold and defend the Constitution. Though Miguna is a Kenyan by birth, under Article 14, he was denied citizenship by Uhuru and his brother in crime, Raila Odinga. Shame on them!” he posted this controversial message on October 19, 2022.
The scholar became a huge name during his days on Citizen Tv where he was a resident analyst always hosted by the now resigned Anne Kiguta.
Interestingly, when she switched stations to the rival K24 Tv, the professor also followed her there and would feature in many of her news items as an analyst.
A local channel today Wednesday November 2 described Kisiang’ani as a well-educated Masters (1990-1995) and Doctorate Holder(2013).
And looking at his social media bio, the vocal political commentator defines self as a political thinker, defender of the Constitution and crusader of good Governance.
