Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has asked President William Ruto to stop coming to Western to launch water taps.
Addressing today in Bungoma, the vocal governor said he is proud to be a leader who only tells the president truth even as others shy away.
He observed that Western Kenya leaders led by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula mislead the president on launching old projects and other projects that should be launched by area MCAs and chiefs.
Last week, sacked Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also had issues with Ruto’s Western tours.
Gachagua accused Ruto of plotting to rob Western Region their votes using lies similar to what happens in Central Kenya in 2022.
