Ruto, Raila and Gachagua Fly out of the Country at the Same Time

Wednesday, October 25, 2023 –President William Ruto, his deputy Rigtahi Gachagua are all out of the country at the same time.

The head of State left the country on Tuesday October 25 to join other leaders in the Future Investment Initiative taking place at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ruto used the opportunity to present the “Africa’s Climate-Positive Growth Agenda” in the ongoing Future Investment Initiative conference.

“It is time to properly and fairly profile Africa’s investment potential. The continent is not risky; that assessment is erroneous and is impeding investment and growth across. Africa has incomparable resources and potential — especially in renewable energy and human capital. Any investment without Africa on the table is deficient,” said Ruto in his statement.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, on the other hand, is in Belgium accompanied by his spouse Pastor Dorcas Gachagua.

“We are constantly engaging with Kenyans living abroad for informed feedback. This evening, in Brussels, Belgium, I held insightful engagements with Kenyans in the Belgium Diaspora,” he updated.

Gachgua added that they are sharing their concerns for redress and that the government will endavour to work with the diaspora through the available frameworks for a better environment as they work hard for the benefit of our the whole Nation.

Interestingly, at the same time, opposition leader Raila Odinga together with his wife flew to India for another function.

The tour of President William Ruto and that of his deputy coming just weeks after DP Gachagua has promised the nation never to travel out of the country at the same time with his boss William Ruto.

Gachagua stated this during his recent visit around Rift Valley from where he also recounted having, at some point, been forced to return to Kenya midway his flight after he had learnt that their was a likely Handshake between his boss Dr. Ruto and the opposition leader.
