Tuesday, October 4, 2022 –The new President has demoted Uhuru’s Aide De Camp Timothy Lekolool and in his place taken by Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga.
Colonel Lengusuranga comes from the Kenya Army and will be Ruto’s new Aide -De-Camp for a period of five years or more depending on how long he(Ruto) will remain in power.
Our quick cross check shows that the new De Camp will be deputised by Colonel Damaris Agnetta also from the Kenya Army.
The new aide today Tuesday accompanied President Ruto to Mathira Constituency where burial service of Deputy President Gachagua’s elder brother Jack Reriani was taking place.
As Lengusuranga, the new Aide De Camp who was commissioned into service in 1999 takes charge of Ruto, his deputy Agnetta has been promoted and will be taking over from Racheal Nduta Kamui whom we learn has also been promoted to a full colonel and will work in the Department of Defense.
Uhuru’s Brigadier Lekolool, who served him between July 2018 and September 2022, has now been deployed to the Department of Defence (DoD) Headquarters in Nairobi.
Among a few other State duties, Lengusuranga will be tasked with escorting Ruto to both public and private events, ushering him into the car, then standing at attention and saluting when the President sits in the left back seat.
This is a normal occurrence when one takes the role of an aide De Camp for the sitting president.
